EVPs

Audio ‘evidence’ usually falls into one of two categories; electronic voice phenomenon (EVP) or disembodied voices/noises.  EVPs are voices or sounds that our audio recorders pick up, but that we don’t hear at the time.  Disembodied voices/noises are things we hear with our own ears, but can’t identify, like foot steps, doors opening or closing, growls, or voices.

The following two EVPs were obtained during the investigation of a single location in downtown San Antonio.

A voice is heard to say “here I am” while two investigators are talking.
